I’m a Packers fan and I am a bit upset by it. But Favre has the right to retire where ever he wants I suppose. I’d rather he just retire as a Packer but the NFL is all about money now. It’s a big business.

If he comes back & plays somewhere else Packer fans will know how Bulls fans felt when Michael Jordan came out of retirement to play for Washington. I think Favre will have the same lack of success with another team that Jordan with the Wizards.
Classless move by Favre. For the past couple of years he’s let this organization and its fans twist in the wind. Will he or won’t he retire? People gave him a pass because they say he’d earned it. So now it’s the Packers fault for pressing him to make a decision sooner? So the Packers paid him millions upon millions of dollars and all they asked was that he make a decision as to his intentions sooner so that they could better prepare their team to remain competitive. How awful they are. It’s obvious Brett doesn’t care about the Packers or their fans. So not only does he hold them hostage for the past couple of years but now he wants an “amicable” split. He doesn’t want to be traded because he wants to control where he goes. So the packers are supposed to release him with something like 2 years left on his deal, eat the cap hit, get no compensation in return and potentially watch him sign with a team like Minnesota? WOW!!! That’s NERVE!!! He won’t go to any team but a potential contender. Minny & Baltimore immediately spring to mind. Why in the world would the Packers do that?
It seems he wants to be a Packer (again), but the team is commiting to Rodgers and is ready to move on.
If he wants to stick it to the Pack, the Vikes could use him and the Bears could definitely use him. I could see him more with the Bears, playing outdoors and the fans would embrace him.
If he wants to avoid playing for an enemy in Lambeau, he could go to the AFC. I think the Jets would be happy to have him. I’m a Giants fan and don’t care about the Jets, but I think the Apple would make him feel very welcome.
If he does play any more.and its not in GB my guess is when he finaly decides to hang them up forever, hw will do what many playeers have done in the past is to sign a 1 day contract with the Packers and retire as a Packer.
Just wishes Jordan did that after he retired from the Wizards and retire as a Bull
I understand Favre’s passion for the game. But GB has put its future on hold for a few years just to let him play. Now is it GB’s turn to say we are going to move on, and there is no excuse for Favre to have revenge on this organization. If he signs with a rival to take revenge, I would burn his jersey. We need role models not athletes that think they can run organizations.
I agree, he can retire where ever he wishes. Is he going to be the Michael Jordan of Football by retiring multiple times and coming back. No one made him retire. Quite frankly i am tired of Brett Favre
I don’t know. I think that he should retire while he is on top. Nobody wants to see him get injured or anything like that so I hope that he decides to stop football and start playing golf.
I think he needs to stop with the soap opera.
the packers dont want him he cant do anything to change that
He’s a bum. Been doing this for a few years now.
i need to hear from favre now that i think of it. (like a press conference)
if not the packers then no one!!!!!!
