REDSKINS=they weren’t that good last year but don’t sleep on them they just signed albert haynesworth so I think they will be a good team this year especcially if they can sign say maybe marvin harrison and make a playoffs run.
COWBOYS=they haven’t made the playoffs since ‘96 but this is the year they got the cancer removed so maybe if they sign another wide out to go with roy williams they could make a playoff run as well
TEXANS=they have andrea johnson and if they draft a wide out like percy harvin or jeremy maclin that would be a great compliment. they also have a good QB if he can stay healthy you could be seeing them in december.
SAINTS=drew brees almost broke dan marinos passing record (16 yards away) and they have some talent at the wide out position, and maybe this is the year reggie bush proves the texans wrong for not picking him they will have a great offense what I am worried about is their defense they better draft on this side of the ball
JETS=they don’t have a good QB right now but they could sign jaff garcia and they need a wide out they should draft percy harvin if he’s still on the board if n

1. Atlanta Falcons – Matt Ryan’s “sophmore season.” He took Atlanta to the playoffs, and I think with Michael Turner emerging as a top running back, and his chemistry further evolving with Roddy White; Atlanta is a certain contender in the NFC.
2. Miami Dolphins – A year removed from 1-15, they win the DIVISION. I’m interested to see what year two under a resurgent Chad Pennington is like, especially now with Tom Brady back in New England, and Owens in Buffalo. The AFC East looks to be back in some semblance of competiton.
3. San Diego Chargers – Yes, they had a rough schedule earlier on last year. I’m curious to see how Darren Sproles does as the now feature back in San Diego with LT spelling him, will it work? In my eyes and many people’s, they’re still one of the most talented ‘on paper’, and with Merriman back, can they dominate the weak AFC West as they’re supposed to, or will they play down to the weaker teams, as they did last season.
4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Word is, they’re taking a page from the Giants book, actual a few pages. Now they have Derrick Ward and their own “three-headed monster” in Derrick Ward, Earnest Graham, and Cadillac Williams (remains to be seen if he can be healthy). Not to mention, a totally revamped coaching staff, and defense. No more Gruden or the masterful Monty Kiffin at the defensive helm. That division in my mind is rather tough, with Carolina, Atlanta, and at least an offensively potent New Orleans to contend with. Also curious to see how they approach their Quarterback situation. I expect plenty of running, and the same stoudt defense we’re used to seeing.
5. New England Patriots – Here’s a telling fact, most people aren’t telling you. From their “dynasty days”, only 5 players remain from those teams. Thats not to say they’re washed up, or out of the picture. Because in reality, they still are the team to beat along with the Steelers and Giants. But how will Brady return from a devastating injury which saw him suffer complications in it’s recovery? The division is tougher now as well. It’ll be interesting to see if they can return to dominating form.
Others things to watch: The further decline of the Dallas Cowboys, Albert Haynesworth, Donovan McNabb’s play and always contreversey in Philly; what do they do with the 12 draft picks? Can Kerry Collins keep Tennessee contending, and where does Vince Young fit? Matt Cassell in Kansas City, does he play just as well as last year? Jay Cutler, will he be a Bronco? And of course, T.O. in Buffalo. Just a few more things to watch for..

I’m sorry that list is just too disagreeable ;)
I would actually agree with two of them – I believe that the Redskins and Packers are great teams that can actually go all the way. As for the other teams, I think they need a lot more rebuilding time?
My other three teams ‘to watch’ would be Falcons, Saints, and Bucs.
Falcons – they could’ve easily reached the SB and with MAtt Ryan maturing, it will just be a matter of time.
Saints – Reggie Bush healthy plus Drew Brees throwing to a healthy lineup would be just plain scary.
The Buccaneers – have all the talent, just seemed to fall apart at the end of last season.
I would say they at least make it to the playoffs, when they get it together.

1. Vikings. The Vike’s hope to increase their receiver depth in this year’s draft (whit a decent group of receivers). All they need now is better quarterback play. This is a make or break year for Tavaris Jackson. If he can at least manage the game and make some big throws when needed, they will be a serious playoff contender.
2. Texans. I know I know, your thinking “Cole, what are you smoking?”. But think about it. They’ve gotten better the last 2 years. If Matt Schuab can stay healthy, I can see them as a definite Wild Card team.
3. Packers. Aaron Rodgers didn’t do a bad job in replacing Brett Farve. Their defense really let them down in close games. Show me a poor defense, and I’ll show you that there’s not enough depth at the D-Line and D-Back positions. If they can improve that, they’ll be fine.
4. Cowboys. Now that Romo doesn’t have to worry about getting the ball to T.O, I think the Boys’ can make a serious run at the NFC East.
5. Raiders. The Raiders looked pretty impressive at the end of last season. If they get some consistency from Russell, I can see them winning a weak AFC West.

Texans – i have liked them for a few years now but as is with any other team their QB needs to say healthy b/c they do have the most underrated QR in the league (andre johnson)
Cardinals – seriously does anyone think they can do it again?
Lions – lol j/k wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t win a game this year either
Browns – Brady Quinn looked good last year he’s got most of a season as a starter if Edwards can remember how to catch they’re in
Bears – they’re D as long as its healthy is still top 5
Jaguars – remember this was a super bowl favorite last year and they’re my favorite team
Broncos – with Jay Cutler he’ll be a man possesed showing the oraganization that he is a top 5 QB in this league plus they’re DEEP at RB defense is marginal but managable

i agree with yahoo on the skins they are scary…. and the cheifs those teams should have an optimistic outlook cuz they are gonna shake up the NFL!
i like cincy and every year i get hyped up and im hyped up…..so WHO DEY!…..i hope lol
watch the patriots suck……Tom is been injured alot like with his ankle and his torn acl or whatever. plus the defense is ancient.
ummmm i say the saints and cardinals will be the most fun teams to watch.
The Giants will prolly dominate on D and should be a challenge…
plus we should all watch baltimore and atlanta just because they have the NFLs best QBS of the future…

I’m gunna say that Saints, Redskins, Dolphins, Texans, and Vikings.
The Saints have a great team, with great players and great coaches… just bad luck. I’m thinking playoffs fer these guys.
The Redskins had a really good free agency, and if they score in the draft, they will probably be a 10 win team.
The Dolphins just came off of a great year, I think they will get better.
The Texans last year had the NFLs leading receiver. That will probably carry over to next year.
The Vikings have probably the best RB in the NFL right now in Adrian Peterson. They also have that killer DLine. Playoffs fer sure.

Vikings-
see if they actually get decent QB play to take pressure off Peterson.
Pats-
To prove Brady as a system QB after all. He does no better than Cassell.
Packers-
See if they wise up and fire evil GM- Ted Thompson
Saints-
See if they still game plan with Reggie Bust.
Cowboys-
Watch Super Bowl run now that the cancer has been removed.

Dolphins, Eagles, Patriots, Jets, and Texans. Respectively.
I feel these teams have improved the most in the off season. Especially the Eagles since they have 11 pics in Aprils Draft.

Vikings, Eagles, Redskins, Cheifs, Texans. I really dont think the packers are even an idea. That really was proven when they got stomped last year. Same thing this year. Go Vikings!

Usually teams to watch are teams that were not hovering around the .500 mark. So I would say 5 teams to watch are the Chiefs, Raiders, Packers, Jaguars.
